Theme・
The Genshin Twins zine is a for-profit fanzine depicting the lives of the twins, Aether and Lumine, before they got separated in Teyvat and after their reunion. What, and who, they encounter along the way is a huge mystery to us all -- join us as we follow them on their journeys through different worlds!

All applicants must at least be 16 years of age when applying.Portfolio content must only contain SFW works.Please check that the viewing permission is set to public for portfolio links. Access will be asked once, but if not given before the end of the application period, the application will be voided.All applicants can pick if they wish to apply to all three zines or to a specific one of their choice.We will allow hinted shipping in the side zines for both art and writing, but your piece should focus on Aether or Lumine and their time in Teyvat over the romance.
Artists・
The project will be completely safe for work.The main zine's theme is Aether & Lumine either before their separation or after their reunion, where they are travelling together to/in another world.・・・Portfolio should have a minimum of 5 complete fully rendered pieces.
If you want to draw merch, please include at least 1 chibi artwork or merch sample.・・・We will be asking for 1 sample to represent the style and art you think best showcases your current artstyle.There will be a field for an optional Genshin piece, but it is not required.・・・You can apply for multiple positions if you prefer, being picked to draw both page art and merch is possible.
Writers・
The project will be completely safe for work.We will be looking for writers for the Lumine-centric and Aether-centric Zines.Writers will be asked to write a letter like the in-game birthday messages [Examples here].
The focus will be a playable Genshin character writing to the traveller.We are looking for shorter writings between 100 - 300 words.・・・Writers will be required to have 3 samples and a portfolio. Portfolio can include any fanfiction hosting websites, Google Drive folders, as well as Tumblr tags. Twitter & Instagram will not be accepted.・・・Sample length should be 100-500 words one-shots if possible. If you wish to include longer fics as part of your sample(s), please extract an excerpt of no longer than 100-500 words. You may also choose to submit new/unpublished pieces as part of your samples.Sample(s) need not be related to Genshin Impact.・・・Having a letter in your portfolio is not required, but recommended.

What is a zine?
It’s a collection of works, either art or writing, made by fans for other fans!・・・What is the focus of the Genshin Twins Zine?
The zine will focus on the twins, Aether and Lumine, as they journey through different worlds together, their separation and eventual reunion in Teyvat.If there is enough interest, we also plan to add 2 side zines that focus on either of the twins as they travel through Teyvat in search of their missing sibling.・・・Are you for-profit or for charity?
We are a for-profit zine.・・・What is the age requirements for applying?
All applicants have to be at least 16 years old as of their application.・・・What content will be featured/is allowed in the zine?
This project is SFW only.The main zine will not include any ships, but we highly encourage AUs as the zine is about the twins travelling to other worlds!Implied/referenced relationships are welcome in the side zines, but they will not be the main focus. We would prefer pieces to focus on character interactions over romantic shipping.・・・Can I include other characters in my piece?
We would like to keep the zine exclusive to Aether and Lumine. For pieces taking place before their separation and after their reunion, we will be allowing Paimon to be included as well.・・・How will contributors be compensated?
All profit will go toward covering production first, which includes a free compensation copy of the book & shipping to contributors. Should our profit allow it, we will provide all contributors with a full bundle (inclusive of shipping). Any remaining funds after production will be split depending on the workload.
